Responsible Gambling
Our tools exist to make the mathematics of wagering visible. That mathematics is unambiguous: every game with a house edge has a negative expected value over time.
What the maths actually says
Theoretical loss equals total wager multiplied by house edge. Because it scales with turnover rather than deposits, a modest balance cycled many times can carry a much larger expected cost than it first appears.
No staking pattern, betting system or bonus changes that sign. Rebates reduce the cost of wagering you already placed; they never make continued wagering profitable.
Treat any amount you wager as the price of entertainment, decided before you play, and never as an investment or a way to recover a loss.
Limits worth setting
- A deposit limit set for a period you can commit to, rather than per session.
- A loss limit, which stops play regardless of how the session feels.
- A session time reminder, because time distortion is a common early warning sign.
- A cooling off period or self exclusion when limits stop feeling sufficient.
Warning signs
- Wagering more to recover previous losses.
- Playing for longer or with larger stakes than planned.
- Borrowing money or using funds set aside for other things.
- Hiding the extent of play from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when not playing.
- Play interfering with work, study, sleep or relationships.
